the rules of the road.

1. who we are

Prayin (“we”, “us”) is a christian screen time blocker mobile application. these terms govern your use of the Prayin iOS app and the website at prayinlock.com.

2. who can use Prayin

you must be at least 4 years old to use Prayin. if you are under 13, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf. the app may also have a higher age rating on apple's App Store depending on your region.

3. how to use Prayin

you may use Prayin to:

• · designate apps on your phone that will be blocked until you complete a guided or self-directed prayer
• · read bible verses, complete prayer flows, and track your streak
• · sync your prayer history across your apple devices

you may not use Prayin to harass other people, attempt to break the app's security, reverse-engineer the prayer content, or use the app for any purpose other than your personal spiritual practice.

4. subscriptions and payments

Prayin is offered as a paid app or subscription via apple's App Store. all payments are processed by apple and subject to apple's terms. your subscription auto-renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. you can manage and cancel subscriptions from your iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

5. content ownership

all guided prayers, verse selections, and the “PRAY method” content inside the app are the property of Prayin and protected by copyright. bible text is sourced from public-domain and licensed translations (NIV, KJV, ESV, NLT, and localized equivalents per market) used under their respective terms.

you may share screenshots of verses with attribution, but you may not redistribute Prayin's prayer content in another app or product.

6. spiritual disclaimer

Prayin is a tool, not a pastor. nothing in the app constitutes professional pastoral counseling, mental health treatment, or medical advice. if you are in spiritual or emotional crisis, please reach out to a trusted pastor, counselor, or licensed therapist. if you are in danger, please contact local emergency services.

7. no guarantees of spiritual outcomes

using Prayin does not guarantee any specific spiritual experience, transformation, or relationship with God. it is a tool that puts a small barrier between you and distracting apps — what you do with that barrier is between you and Him.

8. service availability

we do our best to keep the app running reliably, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. apple's Family Controls framework occasionally has bugs or limitations outside our control. we will work to resolve issues quickly but offer no SLA.

9. termination

you can stop using Prayin at any time by deleting the app. we reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms (e.g., attempts to bypass our paywall, harass support, or abuse the service).

10. changes to these terms

we may update these terms occasionally. material changes will be announced via an in-app banner. continued use after updates means you accept the new terms.
